Looks like Google is adding a Twitter-like IM feature to Gmail, when IM ai actually currently turned off in Twitter (can it please be turned back on, along with “Track”, even if it would have to be a paid “pro” account at say $5/month?). And when is Google going to get it over with and just buy Twitter? Not like Jaiku has been going anywhere…

Things are really heating up with the latest betas of Google Chrome and Firefox 3.1 browsers:
Google Chrome’s latest version, 0.3.154.9, shows a 37 percent JavaScript performance improvement over the initial beta released two months ago.
